1. Legal Information

The website www.mazaya.fr (hereinafter “the Site”) is published by Mazaya, a sole proprietorship registered in Morocco, with its registered office located at:

2. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (TCS) define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the online sale of products offered by Mazaya to its customers through the Site.

Any order placed on the Site implies the full and unconditional acceptance of these TCS by the customer.

3. Products

Mazaya offers for sale handcrafted Moroccan decorative items, such as lamps, wall lights, chandeliers, mirrors, and accessories.
Each product comes with a detailed description and non-contractual photographs.
Given the artisanal nature of the products, slight variations in color, pattern, or size may occur and shall not be considered defects.

4. Prices

Prices displayed on the Site are indicated in euros (EUR), all taxes included (VAT included).

Shipping fees are calculated during the checkout process and vary depending on the destination country and the weight of the parcel.

Mazaya reserves the right to modify its prices at any time but guarantees that the price applied will be the one in effect at the time of the order.

5. Orders

To place an order, the customer must:

  • Select the desired products and add them to the cart,

  • Enter delivery and billing information,

  • Review and confirm the order,

  • Complete the payment using one of the available methods.

Any order constitutes acceptance of the prices and product descriptions available for sale.

Mazaya reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute or previous payment issue.

6. Payment

Payments can be made via:

  • International credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.),

  • PayPal,

  • Other secure payment methods offered on the Site.

All transactions are secured using internationally recognized SSL/TLS encryption standards.
The total amount is charged at the time the order is confirmed.

7. Delivery

Mazaya ships its products from Morocco to most European countries and other international destinations.

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on the destination and the selected carrier.
On average, orders are shipped within 1 to 2 business days after payment confirmation.

The delivery time varies between 7 to 10 business days.

Shipping Fees and Customs

Shipping costs are displayed during checkout.
For deliveries outside Morocco, the customer is solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees charged by local authorities.

Order Receipt

The customer must check the condition of the parcel upon delivery and report any issue (damaged parcel, missing product, etc.) within 48 hours to contact@mazaya.fr.

8. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with European consumer standards, the customer has 14 calendar days from the date of receipt to exercise their right of withdrawal without justification.

To do so, the customer must notify Mazaya at contact@mazaya.fr, specifying their order number and the items concerned.

Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except in cases of Mazaya’s error or a defective product.

Mazaya will issue a refund within 12 days of receiving the returned product.

9. Warranty and Returns

Mazaya’s handcrafted products are covered by a legal warranty of conformity.
In the event of a defect, the customer must contact customer service and provide photos as proof.

Products damaged due to misuse, poor handling, or lack of maintenance are not covered under the warranty.

10. Liability

Mazaya cannot be held responsible for:

  • Damages resulting from improper use of the products,

  • Delays or failures in delivery due to force majeure,

  • Minor differences between photos and actual products inherent to handcrafted production.

11. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Site (texts, images, graphics, logos, videos, etc.) are the exclusive property of Mazaya.
Any reproduction, distribution, or exploitation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization from Mazaya, is strictly prohibited.

12. Personal Data Protection

Mazaya is committed to protecting its customers’ personal data in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 and the European GDPR standards.
The information collected is used solely for order processing and customer relationship management.

Customers have the right to access, modify, or delete their personal data by contacting contact@mazaya.fr.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Moroccan law.
In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the courts of Marrakech shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
